The founders of Edge Velocity were affected by the tragic events of September 11, 2001. One of the many horrific outcomes of that day was the loss of life of first responders who quickly and heroically came to the aid of thousands in need. Despite their bravery, many of these heroes perished due to an inability to communicate with each other in real-time. As a result, Edge Velocity was founded.
